Andrea is a top graduate of VCU's Department of Interior Design and officially joined BAM in the summer of 2011 after hanging around the office all spring as an intern. She has worked on a variety of interior and graphic projects and is responsible for the bold colors and supergraphics that adorn the inside of the Southland Wine Lofts and our West Station project in Roanoke. Never one to feel confined to interiors, she has also contributed designs for a park renovation for the City of Richmond.
Besides the awesome design thing, Andrea has a degree in Crafts and is experienced with a variety of textile arts. In fact, she is the only person we know who can successfully operate a loom. Her design and craft work has been featured in several exhibits and she worked with the Science Museum of Virginia on a project sponsored by VCU's da Vinci Center for Innovation. In her free time, she climbs around in old Richmond buildings as part of a grant-funded team that is investigating a cluster of vacant properties in Downtown.
